When you submit the inquiry form, the following is collected:

• Your name — so the reply can be addressed to you.
• Your email address — so a reply can be sent.
• Your message — whatever you choose to write, which may include details about your business or project.
• Submission details — your IP address, approximate city, region, and country supplied by Vercel, browser user agent, and submission time. These details help distinguish and troubleshoot inbound inquiries.

The form also carries a hidden anti-spam field and uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. Cloudflare receives limited request and browser information for that security check; the inquiry text is not sent to Cloudflare.

To limit automated abuse, the server temporarily counts submissions against the network address your request arrives from. That counter lives in server memory, is never written to a database, and expires within ten minutes.

This site runs no analytics, advertising, or behavioral session-tracking scripts.

Only to triage, read, and respond to your inquiry, keep a record of the conversation in the ordinary course of business, and protect the form from abuse. Your details are not added to a marketing list, and you will not receive newsletters or promotional email as a result of contacting this site.

• Vercel — hosts and serves this website. Vercel processes request metadata, including your IP address, in order to deliver the page and protect against abuse.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — performs the contact form security check and processes limited device, browser, and network signals needed to identify automated abuse. The message itself is not included in that check.
• Email hosting and delivery — your submission and its request details are sent as an email over an encrypted SMTP connection and land in a mailbox operated by an email provider on Tracey Higginbotham’s behalf.
• Google Fonts — typefaces are loaded from Google’s font service, which receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request. No form content is ever sent to Google.

These providers act as processors. Your inquiry is not sold, rented, or traded, and it is not passed to anyone else except where the law requires it.

Inquiry emails are kept in the mailbox for as long as they are useful for the conversation and any resulting work, and are deleted once they are not. Short-lived server logs and abuse-prevention counters are discarded automatically, typically within days.

The site is served over HTTPS, and inquiry emails are transmitted over an encrypted SMTP connection using TLS 1.2 or later. Access to the receiving mailbox is limited to Tracey Higginbotham. No security measure is perfect, and nothing here is a guarantee against every possible compromise.

Please do not send passwords, financial account numbers, government identifiers, or other highly sensitive material through this form.

You can ask what is held about you, ask for a correction, or ask for your inquiry to be deleted. Email tracey@traceyhigginbotham.com and the request will be honored, normally within 30 days. There is no charge, and no account is needed.

You can also simply choose not to use the form — the same email address works directly.

This site is aimed at business contacts and is not directed to children under 13. Information is not knowingly collected from them.

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Material changes will be described in plain language rather than buried.
